Shamrock

The shamrock is a symbol / symbol of Ireland and it

is associated / associated with the Trinity. Most

shamrocks have three leaves, but

sometimes you can find a four-leaf one.

Each leaf is a representation / representation of something:

the first - of hope, the second – of faith,

the third – love and the fourth leaf means

luck / luck . People wear shamrocks on their caps

and jackets on St Patrick’s Day. The first

reference / reference to shamrock in written English

dates back to 1571. But in the 19th century

wearing the shamrock seemed  rebellious

and Irish regiments were forbidden to

display it. Now shamrock is part of the

national emblem of the United Kingdom.
